Delores M. (Grant) Walston Spaulding Curtis, 83, of New Albany, Indiana left this earth peacefully on September 17, 2012, with her loving family by her side. Delores loved nature which led her to build a home on Seven Springs Lake in Elizabeth, IN where she enjoyed seeing her children and grandchildren catching bluegill in the lake.
She loved watching the hummingbirds come and go, and she loved seeing her flowers grow. She was a fierce competitor of Euchre, never passing up an opportunity to call us on a rule. She loved putting together puzzles with her family and was a voracious reader. Delores was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lanesville and retired as a nurse's aide.
Delores was born on May 30, 1929 in Louisville, KY to the late John R. and Edna (Kuhn) Grant, Sr. She will also be greeted in heaven not only by the loving arms of our Lord and her parents, but also her husband, Glenn Curtis; children, Leila Marie Walston Sutherland, Todd Spaulding; siblings, Rose Ann Kinberger, Doris Belanger, John Grant, Jr..
