Delores May (Floyd) Carpenter

Delores May (Floyd) Carpenter, 77, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021.

She was born on September 26, 1944, in Leavenworth, Indiana, to Ulysses and Mary (Matherly) Floyd. In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Floyd.

Delores is survived by her son, Tony Carpenter; siblings, Kathy Crawford, David Floyd, Paul Floyd (Cathy), Billy Floyd, Marqueta Fabbri, and Glenna Cooper; granddaughter, Christina Clark (Matthew); and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, and Katie.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Wednesday after 10:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Cedar Cemetery in Leavenworth, Indiana.
