Delia Ann (Poindexter) Blackerby, 60, passed away on October 13, 2014. Delia worked over 25 years at Airguard Industries in Jeffersonville. An avid gardener, many enjoyed the beauty of her lovely flower gardens.
Delia was born on April 15, 1954 in Glasgow, Kentucky to Clara "Aggie" and the late Charles Poindexter. She is also preceded in death by her son, Jason Blackerby and her brother, Ronnie Poindexter.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Blackerby, Sr.; son, Robert Blackerby, Jr. (Michelle); brothers, Charles, Gregory, James, and Paul Poindexter; sisters, Rose Shepherd, Mary Werblo, and Faye Cox; and grandchildren, Justin, Brandon, and Shelby Blackerby.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 3:30 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN).
