Deirdre YuVette Elliott, 58, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020.
Deirdre was a woman of great Faith; confessing Christ at a very young age, she was a long time member of Christian Faith Church. She was a fun loving, good time person that loved spending time with her family and friends. Deirdre loved arts and crafts and was the best chicken cooker in the state. Deirdre was passionate about our youths futures; she taught for 27 years for JCPS.
She was born on July 28, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Frank and Thelma (Lightford) Sales .
Deirdre is survived by her loving son, Wayne Elliott, Jr., step children, Phillip Macklin, Waynetta Elliott, and Anna Elliott, sisters, Sharron Sales, Patricia Thompson, and Gwen Sales Mitchell, granddaughters, Kaiori Conely, and Ashlyn Rhodes, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and her very special care giver, Cherry Kelly. Along with her fur baby, Tippie.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Portland Memorial Missionary Baptist, (3802 W Market Street ). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, at Portland Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.
