Debra L. (Hall) Nye

Debra L. "Debbie" (Hall) Nye, 57, of Henryville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017. In her early years, Debbie was a caregiver for disabled children. After marriage, she devoted her life to being a loving wife and mother. She was a faithful servant of God, and those blessed to know her knew of her compassion and love for others. She was slow to anger and quick to forgive and was always ready to put others above herself.

She was born on April 22, 1960 in Scottsburg, Indiana to Ralph and Nancy (Grider) Hall. Debbie is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Hall.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Steven W. Nye; daughters, LeighAnn Mullins (Joshua), Tonya Nye (Eric), and Mindy Nye (Jay); grandchildren, Nathan, Taylor, and Skylar; and brother, Larry Hall.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 PM on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150). Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 11 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Henryville.
