Debra Lynn (Jantzen) Austin, 64, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018.
Debra is survived by her loving wife, Vickie L. Windell; son, Michael Austin (fiancée, Kim Gambill); sisters, Nancy Belden (Dee) and Kay Johnson; brothers, David Jantzen and Melvin Jantzen; grandchildren, Courtney, Laci, Colin, Chance, and Trenton.
She was born on August 22, 1954, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Oscar and Effie (Rigsby) Smith. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Bell Embry.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane) with additional visitation on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Her Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following Debra's wishes.
