Deborah Shorter, 92, of Marengo, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023. Deborah was a strong, independent, caring, and humble woman. She was very much loved by all that knew her. She will truly be missed.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Byron J. Sherman; and her second husband, Robert "Bob" Shorter. Deborah is also preceded in death by her two oldest daughters, Adrienne (Sherman) Schifcar and Darla (Sherman) Anderson.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Ryan; 5 grandchildren, Shana, Carrie, Stephanie, Dana, and Rena; and 7 great-grandchildren, Sierra, Devin, Jaime, Davian, Cielo, Xander, and Noah.
Cremation was chosen in accordance with Deborah's wishes, and no services will be held at this time.
