Deborah Jeanette (Little) Howard

Deborah Jeannette "Debi" (Little) Howard, 70, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021. She retired from the Clark County Health Department as an OB nurse. Debi was an animal lover and enjoyed reading and working puzzles. She was a "mothering tree" to so many people in her life.

She was born on March 4, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Debi was preceded in death by her parents, Doris (Jones) Plankers Little, William B. Little and Roy Plankers. In addition to her parents, Debi was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Wolff and grandson, TJ Kannapel.

Debi is survived by her husband, Arnold Howard; children, Theresa Howard, Tami Ash, Daniel Howard, Leslie Gibson (Dan), Sean Poulton, Tom Howard (Christal), Chris Twente, Brian Trapp (Brianne), Julie Pitt Huie; siblings, Mary Jane Lawson (Jim), Bill Little, Jr. (Karen), Amy, Sue, Roy, Jim Plankers, Gwen Koziuru; brother-in-law, John Wolff; grandchildren, Laura, Mandi, Jessie, Meghan, Landon, Savannah, Jairica (Denise), Dakotah, Wesley (Saphron); great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Khloe, Kinsley, Harper and Teddy.

Cremation was chosen following Debi's wishes. A reception of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
