Deborah Gail (Tarter) Hughes, 60, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sellersburg. Debbie had a heart full of love to share with everyone that came into her life. Her door was always open and she truly never turned anyone away.
She was born on October 5, 1954 in Madison, Indiana to Kenneth E. and the late Wanda (Willmann) Tarter. Along with her father, she is survived by her daughter, Angela Wampler (Scott); sisters, Tammy Pierce (Gary), Melanie Beard (Mel); grandchildren, Corgan and Riley Wampler; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM on Friday, November 29, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 11 AM. Her Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Charlestown Cemetery in Charlestown, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
