Deborah Ann Cash

October 8, 1950 — March 11, 2025

Shelbyville, KY

Deborah Ann Cash, affectionately known as Debbie, born on October 8, 1950, in Newport, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully in Louisville, Kentucky, on March 11, 2025, following a brief illness. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who touched the hearts of many during her lifetime.

Debbie married her husband, Warren Cash, on June 17, 1967. Together, they shared a remarkable 57 years of love, support, and companionship. Warren, along with their children, Melissa Cash and Darren Cash, will forever carry the cherished memories of the time spent with her.

Debbie was known for her passion for gardening, particularly her love for flowers, which brought a vibrant touch to her home. She found great joy in feeding and watching the birds that visited her garden. An avid baker, Debbie delighted in creating homemade treats for her family. Additionally, she adored spoiling her dog, Romeo, who was always by her side.

In addition to her immediate family, Debbie is survived by her brother, Michael Amon (Diane), who will remember her fondly. She also leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren: Neville McIntosh, II, Hayden McIntosh (Dru), Abigail Spears, Kayla Stevens (Morgan), Melody Miller (Austin), and Harmony Cash, as well as her great-grandchildren, Opal and Olan McIntosh and Vincent and Theodore Miller.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Barbara Amon.

Services will be private.

Her spirit will continue to bloom in the gardens she cultivated and in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
