David Wayne Wilson

David Wayne Wilson, age 60 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was born October 2, 1962 in Dayton Ohio, to the late Wayne Roy Wilson and Patricia McGriff Wilson. David served his country in the United States Marine Corps as both a mechanic and a musician. After leaving the Marine Corps his love for music kept him active playing the trombone in a variety of bands and groups around town. While he enjoyed living in different states throughout his life David always considered Louisville his home.

David is survived by his brother, Robert Wilson; sister, Mary Tatum (Jason); nephew, Mason Tatum; and nieces, Hannah Tatum and Hailey Tatum. He will be missed by his friends, neighbors and his best buddy, Tigger the cat.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160, with military honors.
