David Joseph Swisher

David Joseph Swisher, 52, of Marysville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023. David was a proud member of the IMPBA Boat Association. He was known for his love of building and racing model boats. He also enjoyed building and collecting model trains and remote control cars. He had a passion for tending to fish and their aquariums. David so cherished his beloved dog KC and Evo the bunny.

He was born on May 27, 1970, in Bronxville, New York, to the late Terence and Nancy (Parmenter) Swisher.

David is survived by his wife, Monica Swisher; sister, Brenda Swisher; daughters, Brittany and Kaleigh Swisher; grandchildren, Jayden, Miracle, and Angel; nephew, Kevin Swisher; niece, Megan Swisher; and nephew, Justin Swisher.

Cremation was chosen in honor of David's wishes. A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals and Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His memorial service will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
