David Allen Stallings

David Allen Stallings, Sr., age 64, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023. He was born to Joseph W. Stallings and Mary Lorene Stallings on October 4, 1958 in Owensboro, Kentucky.

David moved around the country several times and eventually settled in Idaho for over 30 years. He then returned to Louisville in 2004. He obtained his associates degree in Criminal Justice. He managed a Circle K, Hallmark store, and then worked for a detention center. Once he moved to Louisville, he worked as a patient attendant at Brooklawn Medical center. He then became head of security at the Louisville Library which was his favorite job.

David was preceded in death by his wife, Kimmi Stallings; parents, Joseph W. Stallings and Mary Lorene Stallings; sister, Linda McMahon; brother, Randy Stallings; and nephew, Sean McMahon.

David is survived by his son, David, Jr.; daughters, Eptizon and Cera; sisters, Maria and Judy; brother, Joey; good friends, Billie Williams and Doug Foster; his constant fur companion, Bea; 3 grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Saints Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, Hosparus, and all of David's family and friends for their care and support.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
