He was born on August 23, 1947 in Clarksville, Indiana to the late Sidney and Bonnie (Rogge) Samuels.
David will always be remembered for his love of music, fun demeanor, sarcasm and his love of animals.
David is survived by his loving family; children, Melissa N. (Mike) Hare and Michael C. Samuels, grandchildren, Clayton, Conner, Leigh, Caelyn and Collin Hare, great grandchild, Shelton Hare, sister, Julie L. (Steve) Vincent, niece, Alyssa Trussell and great nephew, Liam Hamilton.
