David Edward Payton Ii

David Edward Payton II, 49, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. He was a great husband and loved his family deeply. David was a hard worker and thoroughly enjoyed his career as a truck driver. In his younger years, he had liked spending time outdoors hunting.

He was born on February 11, 1973, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late David and Barbara (Vance) Payton. David is survived by his wife, Kristina Payton; children, Lillie and Jack; stepson, David; siblings, Debbie (Ted), Vickie (Ed), Sandy, Brenda (Robert), Mark, and Vanessa; two grandsons; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Diesel.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his funeral service taking place at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
