David L. Martin

December 18, 1930 — December 12, 2012

David L. Martin, 81, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. He retired from Nemco Fabricators in Louisville, Kentucky and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed both fishing and hunting.

David was born on December 18, 1930 in Elizabeth, Indiana to the late George and Susie (Pillman) Martin. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jerry Heitz; and several siblings.

He is survived by his children, Dennis Martin (Patty), Robert "Bobby," Charles, David, Diana Heitz; sister, Grace Wilson (Henry); 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM on Friday, December 14 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150). His Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana.
