David Ray Fulkerson

David Ray Fulkerson, 56, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024. David was a loving and devoted son, brother, and uncle. He loved to play frisbee golf and was an avid NASCAR fan. David had a passion for Big Foot and USO sightings. He especially enjoyed watching Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures. David had to have his Pepsi and Folgers coffee. He cherished his dinners at Hibachi with his dear friends, Shain and Diane, as well as watching Benny Hill with Tim on Saturday nights. He recently discovered a new found love for spending time at the lake with his sister and family on the water. David will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. 

He was born on August 5, 1967 in Otisco, Indiana to Wendell and Mildred (Kelsay) Fulkerson. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Fulkerson; and father, Wendell Fulkerson. 

David is survived by his loving family, sister, Tammy (Jeff) Coater; nephews, Anthony (Melissa) Fulkerson-Jones, Andrew Jones, Austin Jones, Zachary (Brianna) Jones, Jeffrey (Amber) Coater, Nick (Faith) Coater; great-nieces and nephews, Jackson, Brandon, Bailey, Andrew, Asher, Beau, Luca, Posey; life long best friend, Tim Webb; best friends, Shain and Diana Schultz; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever. 

Visitation will be on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. 

The family requests that memorial contributions in David's honor be made to Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions to assist with final expenses.
