David Fanning Sr.

David Fanning Sr., 68, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024. He enjoyed going to B&B Bar "Clover Leaf". David also enjoyed music, motorcycles, going on vacations, his grandchildren, and spending time with family and friends.

He was born on March 28, 1955 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late James and Francis (Burns) Fanning. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Fanning, Sr., Michael Fanning, and Mark Douglas Fanning, Sr.

David is survived by his loving wife of six years, Ramona Fanning; children, David W. (Tammy) Fanning, Jr., Jessica Turner, Joseph (Jessica M.) Fanning; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; two step-sons, Christopher (Terra) Green and Patrick Green; siblings, Julie (Ali) Nowroozi and Roger (Bonita) Fanning.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) and Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 12:00 pm until the time of service. His Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the funeral home.
