David Wayne Elson

September 30, 1953 — January 13, 2020

David Wayne Elson, 66 of Louisville, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville Kentucky. He was born September 30, 1953 in Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana, the son of the late Kenneth W. Elson and Gwendoline E. Elson. He owned and operated Multi Electronic Services where he provided peace of mind and safety with his security systems to many. In his free time he enjoyed sharing meals with his friends and family, fishing, IU Basketball, Churchill Downs, and Caesars.

David is survived by his children, Cindi Lucas (Sid) and David A. Elson; his grandchildren, Colin and Jordyn Lucas; his brother, Kenny Elson (Renee) and his nieces and nephew and a host of relatives and friends.

Guests are invited to attend a visitation for Dave from 3pm - 6pm on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243 (in Middletown).

Memorial gifts in the form of contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org).
