David Ray Elkins, 60, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
He was born on July 30, 1962 in Cincinnati, Ohio to David and Jean (Yates) Elkins . He is preceded in death by his father, David William Elkins and his son, Scotty McGill.
David was a avid UK fan, enjoyed going to Churchill Downs and fishing.
David is survived by his loving family; mother, Jean Elkins, children, David A. McGill and Sarah B. McGill, 8 grandchildren, siblings, Debby (Robert) Elkins, Missy J. (Rick) Barnes and Allen W. Elkins, partner, Lisa Braden and his 5 nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Hwy).
