David William Dorado, 83, of LaGrange, entered the Gates of Heaven on July 22, 2024. He was born on June 25, 1941, in Los Angeles, California to Romulo and Adelaide Dorado. He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Daniel, and brother, Jerry.
David was a very loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Irene; Daughter, Cyndi (Son-in-Law Mark); Son, Bryan (Daughter-in-Law Julie); Granddaughters, Amanda, Victoria (Eric), Constance (Brandon); Grandsons, Jonathan, Christopher; Great Grandsons; Kayden, Wesson, Aryel, Great Granddaughter, Elena; Sisters, Arlene (Art), Karen (Gary), Cheryl (Dennis), Phyllis (Bob), as well as many Nieces and Nephews.
David gaduated from Montebello High School in 1959. He worked many jobs throughout his life, Knudsen’s Food Company as a truck driver, General Telephone Company as a linesman and Verizon Communication as a Technician.
Anyone who knew David, knew he was very well liked by his family, friends, neighbors, peers and everyone he contacted. He had a smile that could never be forgotten, he was a great man, loved by all. David loved working on computers, cutting his lawn, watching a good boxing match, enjoyed an occasion cigar and loved his beer.
Rosary service will be at 3:00 pm, Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Newcomer, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). Visitation will follow that evening from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. The family will also receive friends on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Aloysius Catholic Church (212 Mt Mercy Dr, Pewee Valley, KY 40056). A funeral mass will follow that day at 11:00 am at the church with burial following at the churches cemetery.
