David Wayne Dishman

David Wayne Dishman, age 54 of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021. He graduated from Jeffersontown High School and was formerly employed with CTI Food Supply as a forklift operator. He also worked construction with his father, and was formerly employed with Luther-Luckett Correctional Facility. David was an avid UofK fan and was crazy about cars. Above all else, David loved his family and told them each time he spoke to them that he loved them. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Loyd and Flosey Dishman, and Hubert and Anna Savage.

David is survived by his loving son, Corey Dishman (Ashley); his parents, Wedsel Don and Mary Inalene Dishman; grandchildren, John Knoop, Joshua Dishman, Chloe Dishman and Olivia Dishman; siblings, Danny Dishman (Patty), Debbie Crenshaw (David) and Patricia Weber (Paul); and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 11am to 1 pm on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY (in Middletown) and also on Wednesday, January 13th from 3 pm until 5 pm. A celebration of David's life will be 5 pm at the funeral home following visitation.
