David Carlton Brown, 53, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018, with his family by his side. He was a member of Greenville Christian Church and a member of many rodeo associations, including the R.S. Rodeo Company. David loved the sport of rodeo, but his one true love was his family.
David was born on March 6, 1965, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Luther C. and Oreva (Smith) Brown. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Taylor and her husband, Cort.
David is survived by his wife of 30 years, Angela "Angie" (Schuppert) Brown; children, Ty Brown (Aubrey) and Lacy Sutton (Josh); grandchildren, Paisley and Sage Brown; sisters, Vanessa Ash (Mike), Karen Campbell (Steve), and Kim Wade (John); parents-in-law, Jack and Jan Pope; and several nieces and nephews.
His Memorial Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel at the funeral home.
