David Blanton

David Blanton, 69, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019. David retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. David loved fishing, watching sports and the Price is Right. He was kind person who loved telling jokes with friends and family.

He was born on January 28, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky to Roma and Mary (Wison) Blanton. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Sisters, Frances Sharp, and Wanda Lukeas, Brothers, James Blanton, Gerald Blanton, Paul Blanton Kenneth Blanton, Charles Blanton, and Robert Blanton.

David is survived by his loving Wife of 14 years, Denise Semones-Blanton; Son, Duane (Dusty Semones) Blanton; Step-Son, Trevor (Amy) Semones; Step-Daughters, Brooke Semones and Lyndsey Semones; Grandchildren, Rikki Blanton, Shelby Lynn Blanton, Chance Blanton, Gusty Blankenbaker, Tye Blankenbaker and Falon Blankenbaker; Sister, Martha (Gerald) Brooks; Brothers, Larry (Karen) Blanton and Ronald (Kathy) Blanton.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
