David A. Drake, 62, of Lanesville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching the NFL, especially the Chicago Bears.
David was born on March 18, 1951 in Tallahassee, Florida to the late John A. and Mary G. (Goode) Drake. He is survived by his wife of almost 44 years, Linda G. (Easley) Drake; children, Amy, Michael (Margie), Bryan (Lori), David Drake; siblings, Danny Drake (Dale), Nancy Thompson (Clint); grandchildren, Brittany, Michael Jr., Nolan, and Tyler Drake.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 2 to 8 PM on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Grant Line UMC (4810 Grant Line Road, New Albany). Cremation was chosen following David's wishes.
Contributions in David's memory may be made to his family in care of his wife, Linda.
