Daryl Thomas Bailey, 65, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. He was a talented, life-long carpenter with a love for music and enjoyed playing the guitar.
He was born on July 23, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to Samuel and Lillie Bailey. In addition to his parents, Daryl was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald, Michael, Lawrence and Dougie Bailey.
Daryl is survived by his fiancé, Becky Milburn; children, Angela Leffew (Calvin Hazelwood), Shawn Leffew (Chasity); step-son, Steven Hillard; grandchildren, Shannon Karnes, Cheyenne Bailey, Kaylyn Hazelwood, Kyleigh Hazelwood, Calvin Hazelwood, Kyla Hillard, Ezra Hillard; great-grandchildren, Cylas, Kaison, Rynn, Kinzlee; and brother, Eddie Bailey (Rene).
Daryl's wish was to be cremated and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care.
