Darrel Lynn Guffy

Darrel Lynn Guffy, born on December 27, 1950, peacefully departed this life on March 20, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy characterized by warmth, conversation, and a deep appreciation for family and community.

A proud father, Darrel's proudest accomplishments included witnessing the graduation of his beloved daughters and celebrating their transition into fruitful careers. Spending time with them were memories he treasured deeply, highlighting the close-knit ties he fostered within his family.

An avid fan of UK basketball, Darrel's enthusiasm for the sport reflected his passionate spirit. He reveled in the excitement of the games, sharing his love for the team with fellow fans and friends, further emphasizing the connections he made through shared interests.

He was preceded in death by his parents William Wynn and Wanda Mae Guffy.

Darrel leaves behind to cherish his memories are his daughter, Willow (Nick) Waggoner and Brandi Guffy; step-son, Kristopher Johnson; brother, Anthony (Jeannie) Guffy; nieces, Gannon (Andrew Howard) Guffy-Howard and Cheryl (Nick) Young; great-nephew, Brendan Cubbage; lifetime partner, Karyl Johnson and extended relatives and friends.
