Darlene Amelia Weathers

Darlene Amelia Weathers, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023. Darlene was a kindred spirit and never met a stranger. She was feisty, fun loving, kind, and loved to dance. When she loved you, she loved you with all of her heart -- but don't make her mad WOW. She was a great story teller who made the world her family. Her family meant the world to her especially her grandkids. She also loved her fur babies. She was Prince's #1 fan. SHE WAS WELL LOVED BY ALL WHO KNEW HER especially her mother and little brother.

She was born on December 14, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to Millard and Brenda (Ashby) Weathers. She is preceded in death by her Father, Millard Weathers, Jr..

Darlene is survived by her loving family, Mother, Brenda A. W. Huffman; Fiance, Kenneth J. Stevenson Sr.; Children, Kenneth L. Weathers, Auntharae D. Weathers, Darlene D. Weathers, Kenny Stevenson, Jr., Jacoby (Shanette) Shirley, Jacory Shirley, and Ketra Shirley; Grandchildren, Kayvion Weathers, Jayden O'Bannon, Dorien Weathers, Heaven O'Bannon, Maila Weathers, Ava Weathers, Anisa Weathers, and Levi Weathers; Brother, M. Anthony (Vickie) Weathers, Sr.; Sister, Cezreada (Rick) Coffey; Nieces, Taminika Weathers, Fatima and Shara Coffey, and Shawmeka Johnson; Nephews, Tony Weathers, Jr., and Junion Davis, as well as a host of aunts, uncle, cousins, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Greater Friendship Baptist Church, (2325 Osage Ave. Louisville, KY 40272). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at Greater Friendship Baptist Church
