Danny Lee Yager

Danny Lee Yager, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Danny was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was kind and loving to everyone he has ever met. He was an avid UofL fan and loved watching football with his family. He was a registered Kentucky Organ Donor. Danny will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on July 17, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to Robert and Anna (Pacey) Yager. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Yager, mother, Anna Yager, sisters, Melissa Richardson and Vicki Kallbreier.

Danny is survived by his loving family, son, Danny Lee Yager, II and Eric Wayne Yager; granddaughter, Sophia Yager; siblings, Eric L. Yager, Debbie Herbert, Lisa Yager-Craft, and Laura Burrell. As well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Memorial Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy).

The family requests that contributions in Danny's memory be made to The Yager Family.
