Daniel Winfield, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Daniel was a loving and devoted father, brother, and Grandpa. He proudly served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS Compass Island during the Vietnam War. He was an award winning scale modeler and had a passion for history. Daniel will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and contagious laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing of him.
He was born on October 29, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph and Opal (Harrington) Winfield. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Winfield; mother, Opal Winfield; sister, Opal Marie Winfield; and brother, Fred Winfield.
Daniel is survived by his loving family, son, Charles Winfield; daughter, Adele Pridgen; brother, Joseph (Helene) Winfield; grandchildren, David Lee Webber, III, Nathanael Andrew Webber, Addie Mae Pridgen, Dan Edwards Pridgen, IV; and nieces, Jena Winfield and Patrice Winfield.
