Daniel T. Kennedy

Mr. Daniel T. Kennedy, age 83 of Louisville passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011. He was a retired manager of 42 years for the Kroger Company, an Army Veteran and a Catholic. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Albert, Tommy and Vincent.

Mr. Kennedy is survived by his sons, Stephen and Phillip Kennedy (Jacquline); sisters, Ann Hieatt, Margie Greenwell (Tom) and Alice Taylor (Ron); wife, Dorothy; step-children, Sandie Lipscomb, Terrie Lee, Ricky Masters and Alma Whelan. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Jason Kennedy (Jessica), April Kennedy; and a host of relatives and friends.

Mass of celebration will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 155 Stringer Lane, Mt. Washington, Ky with burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Louisville. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus.
