Daniel Lee Robbins, Sr.

Daniel Lee "Dan" Robbins, Sr., 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023. Dan was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. He had a compassionate soul and was a friend to many. Dan had an understanding for others and the trials and tribulations that we all go through in life. He was forgiving and always willing to help others in need. Dan will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on June 24, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to Reid and Joann (Potts) Robbins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joann Robbins; father, Reid Robbins; sister, Rita Jo Robbins; and wife, Denise Megahey.

Daniel is survived by his loving family, son, Daniel Robbins, Jr.; grandchildren, Brittany Robbins, Dylan Robbins, Alexis Walcott. brothers, Stephen (Judy) Robbins, David (Jayne) Robbins, Myke (Donna) Robbins; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. the funeral home with burial to follow at Campbellsburg Masonic Cemetery in Campbellsburg, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Daniel's memory be made to E-Z Duz It Center, 6605 Lower Hunters Trace, Louisville, KY.
