Daniel Lloyd Temple

Daniel Lloyd Temple, 42, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 after a seven year battle with colon cancer. He was a mathematics teacher at New Albany High School for 12 years. Dan enjoyed traveling with his family, as well as woodworking, playing video games, and building Legos with his daughter.

Dan was born on August 15, 1971 in Amityville, New York to Daniel and Deborah (Miles) Temple. Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife, Melissa (Hammond) Temple; daughter, Samantha Temple; brothers, Luke Temple (Dana), Christian Temple; grandmother, Jeanne Miles; step-mother, Anita Temple; and many good friends and co-workers.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Mount Washington Cemetery.
