Daniel Jay Langford

Daniel Jay Langford, 66, a wonderful husband, loving dad and papaw, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023. He had several interests that included history, exploring caves, listening to music and landscaping his yard. Dan was a selfless individual and always had a good sense of humor. He enjoyed watching old western movies, The Andy Griffith Show, Tombstone and more than anything looked forward to get-together's with family and friends.

He was born on July 22, 1957 in New Albany, Indiana to Jack and Rose (Klein) Langford. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, David Marcum.

Dan is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mona (Snelling) Langford; daughters, Jennifer Langford (Allen Fisher), Lora Langford (James Burton); grandchildren, Braxton Langford, Fayth Burton, Trey Winders, Ezra Burton, Ember Fisher; and sister, Rhonda Marcum.

Dan's wish was to be cremated and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
