Daniel Kevin King, age 70 born February 28, 1954, passed away on March 1, 2024. "Danny" was a lifelong resident of the south end of Louisville, KY. He attended St. Paul's Catholic School and was a graduate of Bishop David High School (Class of '73). He was a Realtor with Robert MacDonald Realty, Century 21, and Coldwell Banker Realty and worked for UPS for 21 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Reda King, sisters, Donna Riggs and Delores Wallace, brothers Herb King and Brendan King. He is survived by his wife, Brenda, sons Ryan and Kevin King, stepchildren Melissa and Chris Beasley, brothers Edward King Jr. (Sharon), John King (Debbie), sister Bernie LaRue (Don), brother-in-law Pat Riggs (Jane), sisters in law Julie King, Laurie King, Aunt Helen Dennison, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Danny refereed youth basketball for decades and volunteered at the VFW Hall for years as well.
What a character Danny was! He loved being Santa Claus for the nieces and nephews, and you should have seen his Louie and Rudy Act! He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him!
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at St. Paul Catholic Church of Louisville (6901 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky). Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.
