Daniel Glen Gettings

Daniel Glen "Danny" Gettings, 57, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018. He worked as a tool and die maker in the local area for many years. Danny also had a love for bass fishing, camping, and riding his Harley, but what he loved more than anything was his loving wife and "fur babies."

He was born on October 12, 1960, in Jeffersonville to the late Glendale and Loretta (Hillis) Gettings.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Cheryl (Bixler) Gettings; and brothers, David, Donnie, Doug, and Dale Gettings.

Memorial Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen according to Danny's wishes.
