Daniel Frank"Danny" Kost

Daniel Frank "Shotzie" Kost, 68, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012. He was a graduate of Georgetown H.S. and retired from Pillsbury after almost 50 years of service. Danny loved music, Nascar, enjoyed cooking as well as going fishing. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 28 Bonnie Sloan.
Danny was born on January 30, 1944 in New Albany. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Georgia (Bezy) Robertson. He is survived by his siblings, Claudia Shrake Robertson and Thomas John Robertson; cousins and many good friends.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Monday, October 29, 2012, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to Purrfect Friends for Adoption, Inc. (P.O. Box 2134, Clarksville, IN 47131).
