Dale Meredith

Dale Meredith, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024.

He was born on October 17, 1950 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to James and Doris (Crutcher) Meredith. Dale received a degree in Forestry from the University of Kentucky and was a retired cabinet maker, working at Office Resources Incorporated from 1988 to 2018. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan, especially UK basketball. He enjoyed deer hunting, gardening and did so for many years until his health prevented him. Dale was a beloved husband, father, Papaw, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed along with his best friend for eight years, "Buddy".

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Delphine Meredith and Doris Ann Harlow.

Dale is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Judith Ann Meredith, children, Crystal (Dave) Howard, Jennifer (Anthro) Gamble, Robert Brinkley, Patricia (Jeff) Temprano, and Jennifer Brinkley; sister, Charlene (Leon) Hall; grandchildren, Josh McDonald, Eli Gamble, Hayley Whitehouse, Makayla Whitehouse, Angelina Temprano, Jeffrey Temprano, Mary Temprano, and Robert Brinkley, IV; great grandchildren, Zora and Ezra; nephews, Todd (Missy) Hall and Adam (Elizabeth) Hall; and niece, Lauren (Scott) Ahlersmeyer.

Visitation will be from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). His Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm on Monday, at the funeral home.
