Daisy L. Jones, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
She was born on November 30, 1943 in Bell County, Kentucky to the late William and Wilma (Moore) Carmany. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Wilma Bishop, Junior Carmany and Edna Carmany. Daisy is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Larry E. Jones, Sr., her son, Larry E. (Theresa) Jones II, and her sisters, Brenda Wolf, Wanda Bailey and Vickie Jones.
Daisy was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a caregiver by nature; always taking her time to take care and nurture others around her. Daisy enjoyed spending time with her family and in her younger days; spending time with them at the lake. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will be carried on by those that meant the most to her; her family.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, March 11th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A graveside service will take place immediately following the visitation Monday, at St. Andrew Cemetery.
