Cynthia (Cindy) Ann Shipp, 63, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021.
Cindy was a great follower of God and a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and Nimmy to her grandbabies. She was a graduate of Assumption High School, a member of Sojourn Church J-town and a faithful attendee at Evangel World Prayer Center. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a prayer warrior, a student of God's Word, a faithful friend, and always ready with a smile.
She was born on August 29, 1957, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Dolores Parr and the late Ray Parr, Sr. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 42 years, Doug Shipp; daughters, Emily (Jason) Pepper and Allison (Alex) Moore; mother Dolores Parr; siblings Ray (Vickie) Parr, Jr., Jeff Parr, Tom (Jennifer) Parr, Dolly (Craig) Myatt and Gina (Mike) Elms; and granddaughters Evelyn and Jo Moore, Hannah and Lilly Pepper and grandsons Samuel and Isaac Pepper.
Due to the current COVID situation, the visitation and funeral services at Newcomer Funeral Home in Middletown are private and may be viewed virtually between 1:00 – 2:00pm on Thursday, February 11 on the Pray Like Cindy Facebook Page. A private burial will be held at Cave Hill Cemetery. The family requests no flowers be sent, but contributions may be directed to The Lord's Kitchen (www.thelordskitchen.com) or a Christian ministry of your choice.
