Cynthia Lynne Nolan, returned to her Father in Heaven on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. She was born on September 5, 1951, to Bill and Elaine Sullivan. Cindy retired from Regional Youth Services and worked at Wilson Elementary School until recently, where she influenced many children's lives and loved to teach kindergartners how to read. She was active in the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she touched many lives through service. Those who knew her say she was a charismatic personality and always brought smiles to everyone she met.
Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved father and mother, Bill and Elaine Sullivan; and brother Kevin.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Tony Nolan; their five children: son, Travis, his wife Tanna, and their children, Chandler (Whitney), Madison, Olivia, Payge, Kainoa, and Lilo; son, Michael, his wife Ofelia, and their children, Sunny and Lou; daughter, Kristen and her children, Kyleigh (Danny), Elijah, and Emily; daughter, Alicia (Jim Overberg) and their children, Zac, Calvin, Hannah, and Jimmy; daughter, Elizabeth "Libby" (Josh Granius); brothers, Craig (Kathryn) and Chris (Lesli) Sullivan; brother- and sister-in-law, Bill and Ruth King; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Cindy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be dearly missed. Until we meet again.
A Memorial Service will be at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (8209 Highway 403, Charlestown, IN 47111). She will be laid to rest at Silver Creek Cemetery in Sellersburg, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Cindy's memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association (P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023).
