Cynthia Highland

Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Highland, 48, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on December 14, 2022. She was born on May 17, 1974 to Stanley Gilvin and Barie Brewer.

Cindy was a graduate of South Louisville Christian School. She was employed as a problem solver for the Amazon warehouse in Shepherdsville, Kentucky for 7+ years. In her free time, she enjoyed diamond painting and take care of her garden. Cindy always wanted to be a mother and was a "fierce" one to her two boys.

Cindy is preceded by Stanley Gilvin, and her grandparents, Lucille and Lonzie Wright and Irene and Richard Gilvin. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two sons, Jared Highland and Adrian Highland; her mother, Barie Brewer; her aunt and uncle, Becky Wright, Herman Seum and Misty Seum; her best friend, Crystal Justice, as well as other relatives and friends who will all continue her legacy.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) from 11:00am – 3:00pm with the funeral service to begin at 3:00pm. The family has chosen cremation and burial will take place at a later date Resthaven Memorial Park (4400 Bardstown Rd Louisville, KY 40225).
