Cynthia Renee Griffee

Cynthia Renee "Cindy" Griffee, 60, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022.

She was born on April 30, 1962, in New Albany, Indiana, to David and Carole (Potts) Striegel. She is preceded in death by her father, David Lee Striegel; husband, Dennis Wayne "D." Griffee; and sister, Cathy Jacobs.

Cindy was raised in New Albany, Indiana. She married the love of her life, D. Griffee, in 1986. Together, they devoted their lives to ministry, and Cindy helped manage D.'s music career. Above everything, she was a woman of Christ and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Cindy is survived by her mother, Carole Janette Striegel; daughter, Angela Harshey; son, Jeremiah Griffee; daughter, Alisha Howard; daughter, Denyael (Kevin) Owsley; son, Jordan (Christine) Griffee; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Teresa (John) Engleman; brother, Kevin (Deena) Striegel; brother, Samuel (Monica) Striegel, brother, Jonathan Striegel; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a Funeral Ceremony at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
