Curtis Alan Harmon

Curtis Alan Harmon, 81, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024. Curtis enjoyed IU Basketball, wood working, tinkering, and most importantly spending time with his grandchildren.

He was born on June 23, 1942 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Curtis Russell and Helen (Wening) Harmon. Curtis worked for 38 years for United States Army Corps of Engineers. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Margaret Anne Harmon; sister, Jean Kotheimer; and brother, Harry Harmon.

Curtis is survived by his son, Stephen Harmon; grandchildren, Samuel, Seamus, and Sean Harmon; sister, Francis White; and several nieces, nephew, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana next to Margaret Anne, his loving wife.
