Curtis Edward Allen Sr.

Curtis Edward Allen Sr. was the first of six children born to the union of the late James Sr. and Sarah Belle Whiting Allen on January 15, 1948 in Louisville,KY. He married his high school sweetheart, Juanita White in 1968. He entered into eternal life on Sunday July 27, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, James Allen Sr. and mother Sarah Belle(Whiting) Allen of LaGrange, KY and granddaughter Saduri Allen-Edwards. Curtis graduated from Central High School in 1966.

Curtis is survived by four children; Curtis Allen Jr., Anisha (Paul) Anglin, Jamie and D'Lana Allen, seven granddaughters; Ranisha Bishop, Laila, Nevaeh, Mallory Hogue, Araya and Zariyah Allen and Angel Anglin along with two sisters, Marysue (Robert) Allen-Watters and Gloria Allen; three brothers James Jr., Scott (Denise), Kenneth (Cathe) Allen and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sister/cousin Barbara Snow and uncle Charles Whiting Sr. Curtis enjoyed being around his family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday August 1, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville,KY 40243 from 11am-1pm with service to follow.
