Curtis L. Davis

Mr. Curtis L. Davis, 95, of Eastwood, Kentucky passed away on April 14, 2024. He was self employed all his life and had his own trucking company, C.L. Davis Trucking. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and Air Force, serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the Valley-Daylight Masonic Lodge, and he was also a member of the Shriners and The Scottish Rite.

Curtis was born on February 27, 1929, Louisville, Kentucky to the late Elmer Davis and Catherine (Prentice) Davis. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years, Pauline H. Davis.

Curtis is survived by his daughters, Shannon D. Miller-Phillips (Paul), Maureen Lawrence, Kim Chappelle (Keith), Lisa Tennill; sons, Alan Combs (Jim) and Floyd Michael Combs (Julia); eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 17, 2024 and from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Thursday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Eastwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
