Cross McClain, 23, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021. Cross always loved his family and friends. He was an avid sports fan - GO STEELERS! He was an excellent cook and had a true passion for cooking. He always loved to put a smile on others faces.

He was born on December 8, 1997 in Louisville, Kentucky to Zion and Angela McClain. He is preceded in death by his Mawmaw, Linda Davenport and great-grandmother, Odessa Jenkins.

Cross is survived by his loving family; mother, Angela D. McClain, father, Zion Mark McClain; fiance, MyKala Smith; brothers, Camron McClain and Mark (Kayla) McClain; sister, Jasmyn McClain; grandmother, Deborah Curry and grandfather, Larry McClain. His beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to cherish his fun loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with cremation to follow.

The family requests that contributions in Cross's memory be made to BLM (Black Lives Matter).
