Coy Eugene Ritter

Coy Eugene Ritter, 85, of Louisville, Ky passed away on July 8, 2014. He was an employee of Dupont for 22 years and retired from Ford with 22 years of service. Coy was a member of Servant Valley Baptist Church in Cave City, Ky. Coy was born on October 28, 1928, in Mammouth Cave, Ky to the late Thomas Frank and Nannie (Shaw) Ritter. He was also preceded in death by his, brother, Elzie Thomas Ritter, and sister, Nancy Ritter Bishop.
Coy is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carol Judith(Caffee)Ritter; children, Stanley Ritter (Carlleen), Stephen Ritter (Valerie), Debbie Sullivan, Timothy Ritter, Fred Burton (Beth), Bob Burton (Kathy), Melinda Burton, Daniel Burton; 21 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren; siblings, Kenneth Ritter, Leon Ritter, Rose Skaggs (Blaine), T.J. Ritter (Lee), and Rondal Ritter.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Monday at 10:30 am at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Chapel, a private burial for the family will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.
