Cordia Mills Harlow

Cordia Mills Harlow, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025.

She was born on August 30, 1936 in Barbourville, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by son, Paul Harlow, sisters, Sylvia Gravatte, Lucy Wilson and Geneva Vaughn and brothers, Sonny Mills and Oscar Mills.

Cordia volunteered at the monthly church breakfast making her famous sausage and gravy. She loved walking in the park, gardening, playing bunco with her neighbors, and was a 30 year snowbird to Florida, where she enjoyed walking and visiting the beach. Cordia also enjoyed family gatherings and cookouts.

Cordia is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, David Harlow; children, Vanessa Giancola (Victor), Daryl Harlow; grandson, Corey Giancola; sisters-in-law, Margie Harlow, Donna Brogdon (Scott), brother-in-law, Al Wilson, cousin, Linda Bader (Norman) and a host of nieces, nephews, bunco ladies and friends.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 am on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).

The family requests that contributions in Cordia’s memory be made to First Church of God (4408 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40220).
