Connie Sue Stewart, 55, of Taylorsville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.

She was born on June 28, 1965 in Montepiler, Ohio. She was raised in Ohio and Huntington, WV until coming to Louisville in 1987. She married the love of her life, Tony Stewart on April 9, 1988. She worked at UPS Worldport in various positions for over 30 years. She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, fishing and spending time with family. She was a big animal lover. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jason L. Schenck. Connie is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Tony Stewart; mother, Phyllis Jean Schenck; brother, Thomas Church; sister, Pamela Murphy; brother, Joshua Schenck; step sister, Renee Davidson; step sister, Judy Welch; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Funeral Ceremony at 12:00 pm on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Connie's memory be made to Wounded Warriors Project.
